Anyone else go?
Was brilliant fun, though I could've done without all the Vegas-style introductions to songs... It was awesome to see the crowd singing & dancing, and the band certainly seemed to enjoy the appreciation...

I would have quite liked to have gone.
But, I just know I'll have hated it. The videos I've seen of their shows in the States last year were really embarrassing to watch.
The sound was terrible
The guitar wa way too quiet for the first third of the gig, and didn't really get sorted until the encore. Shame really, because they killed when they got it sorted.

the sound was shit though, wasn't it?
Heard it was much better on the Sunday, though the performance was worse.

I was at this! WOO! The memories.
I watched them as part of the beat bespoke thing.
I didn't think they were very good, The Sonics. The rest of the 60s event though, was literally THE best weekend of my life. Absolute paradise.
