blakfish and pictures tracks definitely need to be in there. they're all pretty ace.

blakfish, pictures, colour

sexy bands

MY BAND

IS IN THERE, but we suck compared to most of them, oh well!

Colour are blates the best.

i voted

for minotaur, stark's pond is cracking.

colour are amazing though.

The Defeat

are really good.
I'm still deciding who to vote for, it'll likely be Pennines or The Defeat.

Pennines

Are the only ones Iv'e herd so far I might investigate the rest some time. Penninies are pretty cool mind I wanna hear more from them.

blakfish ftw

colour, pictures, our own devices, pennines excellent too.

caesura, the defeat, minotaur explode all good fun.

the world on fire, my first tooth, twin atlantic complete rubbish im afraid.

It's all very close right now

Last time I checked we'd had just over 400 people vote but there was only 10 between 1st and 4th place!

Some of my fav's

are The Defeat, My First Tooth and Colour

My votes

are going on Pennines, Colour, The Defeat and Blakfish.

OH NOES

I don't think we're going to be on it lol, I just listened to all the bands again, they are all 'mature', we're just dummies!

Wicked lil competition though, glad we are part of it.

This is such a fucking stupid idea

A record where the label doesn't have to do any scouting or pay for recording. The best ones will be remastered and sold through all the bands friends or the silly people who took part in the competition from the start.

A Battle Of The Bands for web 2.0.

Crass.

Are you the guy who posts

equally joyous posts on Punktastic?

You need to have a wank or something. It's just a bit of fun and an attempt at doing something a little differently

Who needs to have a wank?

I expect it's me on Punktastic.

you added me on Bebo once!

i voted the defeat

then pennines it's too difficult to decide between them.

No not you, the other guy

Bebo's weird. I gave up on that one quickly

Yeah, that's probably me.

I'm sorry we have to disagree so much. Whether you realise it or not, we know many of the same people and I hear you're a LOVELY MAN; it's just the idea of competition in indie/diy music really gets to me.

Can't you just put out a 10" with six Copy Haho songs on? That's your best bet.

You have no idea how much I'd love to

Put 6 Copy Haho tracks on one 10". I literally have their songs planted on my brain these days

Copy Haho

are the first band I've ever seen that made me want to put out a record.

So so so psyched on Dananana, Copy Haho and TAV in Newcastle on Monday.

^ This

BSM is a pretty reputable brand these days, and one that plenty of 'the kids' have invested a great deal of trust in. Many of them will buy this record and some new bands will get a little exposure.

Also, Kev bsmrocks; where is my Yndi Halda vinyl?

Going out today, hopefully

They were a little delayed but I'm working through em right now. Your envelope has your address on it and everything!

ooooooh

we came so close!
still, thank you for the honourable mention...

Yeah your track was awesome

and if it's any consolation, a few people recommending checking you out. Darren, the editor at Rock Sound was saying just the other day how much he was enjoying your CD. You should get in touch with him if you haven't already

ah thank you!

yeah, we've met darren and had a big ol natter with him!
we've been in rock sound a few times too. he's a lovely chap isn't he?!

we've been in rock sound twice but still can't get a gig! haha. promoters sure are funny.

See!

This thread/competition is full of love mattj you scrooge!

humbug

;-)
