i like it a lot. it flows. it sounds like cool, older bowie (or even his last two new releases), but also like some other artists too, like maybe some elvis costello and even badly drawn boy or brian eno. favorite tracks are "mrs. kowalski" and "the red sea", but there really isn't a bad song in the bunch (11 songs). maybe i'm biased because i live in pittsburgh, which is where chancellorpink is based, but it's my understanding he's starting to finally break out more on the internatioanl scene. he's putting the "indie" sound back into indie rock, but while still making good-quality, hook-laden pop songs with phenomenal lyrics. this is his third album in three years, and he says he's making 7 more in the next 7 years, so we'll see. but i think chancellorpink has everything it takes to make a major mark on the indie pop/rock scene. go pittsburgh! :) cheers! brady
