Raekwon, Okkervil River, the Field and more for Explosions in the Sky ATP

The latest bands have been roped in to the Explosions in the Sky-curated ATP taking place this spring.

Atlas Sound, Raekwon, Okkervil River and the Field will be at Butlins in Minehead for the event, as well as Octopus Project and Pale Gallery.

Running from the 16th ‘til the 18th of May, tickets for the weekend have almost sold out, only a few six berth or room only tickets remain at WeGotTickets.com and Gigantic.com.

Ghostface is playing the Explosions one as well... if this continues we'll have seen all of the principal Clansmen by Christmas 2010

Unexpectedly...

one of the best ATP line-ups in recent times. I bought tickets when they were first announced for this weekend, but I had no idea how much better it was going to get.

And I thought I'd never see the glory of The Dirty Three weekend happen again!

I am beginning to piss my girlfriend off with the sheer amount I have been playing Okkervil River of late. Before and after the magnificent show I dragged her to at the Scala on Tuesday.

The only band I can play and play and play and not get bored of. Literally - THE ONLY BAND.

this really is turning out to be a legendary lineup

I'm rather glad we chose Explosions now. Even though I initially dreaded a borefest of post rock after post rock.
