Do you know ticket details? I missed the last one in Birmingham because it sold out before I was even aware of it, I cannot let this happen again.

stars of the lid, lichens and james blackshaw!

I can't imagine watching stars of the lid standing up - it's so sleep inducing... in a good way :)

I was going to get a Glasgow ticket a few weeks ago

but have been deliberating and deliberating.

Anyone seen them before and have a well-formed opinion?

I saw them in Bristol in October

in a really lovely church - modern but with gothic arches. It was about a third full which was sad and good at the same time because there were no bastards talking or anything.

They had numerous projectors which they used to overlay different images to great effect, sometimes on the screen and sometimes using the pillars and the ceiling too. The 2 guys alternated between guitars and laptops and there was a string trio to give it a 'live' sound. My only slight complaint was that I was expecting more extended/improvised pieces whereas I recognised pretty much all of the material. I spent the gig in that halfway state between asleep and awake. I would happily go and see them again were it not for the fact that I'll see them at ATP. Oh, and go on your own.

^ sounds pretty good

i wish it was in a church in Glasgow though and not a dive (a recently refurbished dive, but a dive nonetheless). We shall see - it's not like it'll sell out.

Thanks!

and the London date sold out ages ago

does anyone know how to get tickets from this???

if it's sold out

aren't you best checking eBay or on the door for someone with a spare?

sweet fa on ebay right now

not that i was expecting anything

hmmmmm

my only other suggestion would be to post on lastfm, perhaps? Or check ont he door for a spare ticket?

If all else fails, bust your way in, Rambo-styleeee?
