Hahaha

Bupbuddabupbup bupbuddabupbaddabup

haha

the resemblance is uncanny.

I was thinking this

but was too scared to say anything for fear of major repercussions. Thank you for saying what we've all been thinking, Alcxxk.

Los Campesinos

suck giant hairy ogre penis.

^

I don't think broken heartbeats sound particularly like breakbeats.

They sound like an arrhythmia, Which is a serious medical condition and nothing to make light of.

DEATH TO LOS CAMPESINOS.

yerrr

kill 'em

That's no laughing matter, Josh :(

My nan had acute angina

RING DING DING

Also

I heard he beat off Chris Martin on top of the pops.

*pout*

:(

:)

Don't you dare

see below

rubbish :(

:(

good work chris

he really is quitting

:(

In fairness

I'd quit LIFE if I was compared to the crazy frog. Someone brought me back a crazy frog toy from their holiday last year. We're not friends anymore.

thanks

you've just saved me bothering to buy it

hey

if ten negative comments can make you quit something, you're not fit for teh music industry.

its nothing to do with the comments

only one of them in the thread was actually negative anyway

(when it has been)

otherwise overwhelmingly positive

^Agreed

Wanna make out?

On the face of it it's a pretty strange reaction

I mean it might just be 'cos he'd rather not talk about the band on DiS, which is fair enough but he could easily just stay out of this kind of thread entirley (it's not like alc**k used his username and not everyone knows he's the guy from LC! anyway).

If it were 'cos someone had said something negative, that'd be slightly over-the-top as a reaction.

If he was leaving then just 'cos he was uncomfortable about people talking about the band and being fanboy-ish around him then guilt-tripping Chris seems a tad unnecessary...

he's not guilt tripping

chris. calm down folks.
i think its more when he's in a non campesinos thread and people start steering the chat in that direction

woah

Gareth doesn't post for an entire day, and people are taking what he has said seriously.

^ and yes, he is serious

as he explained to some of us in PMs when we asked

:(

he doesn't want to be famous is what

keeps his two gareths seperate innit

You're all cunts.

Fuck off.

Says a member of the forum with administration abilities!

Yeah lets feign nonchalance!

hmm?

you have to admit that you're

a bit of a fan of attempting to make disparaging remarks, jonathan.

"attempting"?

massive, massive zing

it's what gets me through the day, charlotte.

just saying, this public outcry is insane.

agreed

i'm only posting because i'm bored at work :)

boooo

...

right, i'm sure gareth was not trying to 'guilt trip' chris in the slightest.

also, the idea that he's stopped using DiS because people might have said something negative about him/LC! is absolute rubbish. i reckon he doesn't really care who does and who doesn't like the band.

i don't think he much liked the use of his full name in the thread, and mostly was just a bit fed up of people making references to LC! in threads where he'd posted which did seem to be happening ever more frequently. he probably made about three references to being in LC! the whole time he posted on here.

he only wanted to be known as 'myfirstmine, the vegankenickiewrestlingfootballmanager one'. it probably just made him a bit sad that he didn't feel he could just be that anymore.

ROLLEYES

it was funnier in my head

(don't leave)

that's what i knew him as

sad that he's leaving, he was one of the better posters.

^ This

should just change

his username ldo

yeah

I didn't have a clue he was in a band until he asked me about a venue in Amsterdam. When I told him that he'd better get tickets as the said event sells out quick, then he told me. He likes good music, and I enjoyed chats about Xiu Xiu, TSIAM, Parenthetical Girls, John Maus, CFTPA, etc. Oh well, we can still talk elsewhere. I guess it is the price of going from a regular forum poster, to someone more in the public eye. Shame if he stops posting, but I can see his reasons - and I doubt a 'crazy frog' reference is one of them!
