Red Hot Chili Pepper bass player Flea lost his $4.8m home recently in the wildfire that swept across Malibu.

The house, described by estate agents as a ‘botanical paradise’, was one of 49 that were “burnt to a crisp” by the recent disaster in California that forced the evacuation of more than 10,000 people living and working in the region.

45-year-old Flea - real name Michael Balzary - was not at home at the time the fire reached it, as he had recently moved leaving the now-destroyed residence on the market.

70mph winds pushed the blaze that left 517,000 acres of cinder, but now the fires look to be under control.

hmm

well, having

read it i thought i'd share my lack of interest in what i'd just read.

I wonder if the lawsuit against Californication

will stealthily rise by $4.8m?

Lolz on the title

*Raises hand for high five*

when he replaces all his furniture

do you think he might go to a FLEA market?!?!?!?1/1/1/1/1
ROFLOL

Probably not

I'd guess he's wealthy enough to buy new stuff

...

it said he'd just moved so i imagine most of his stuff was gone
if there was stuff left yeah you can replace stuff but personal items - e.g: stuff from childhood, his first bass maybe - are irreplaceable with money

.

Eye-witnesses to the blaze claim that due to the ferocity of the fire it only took One Hot Minute for the house to be destroyed

.

Flea is rumoured to be making plans for a new home on Higher Ground

Man, having your house burnt down.

Thats a real slap bass in the face.

I wonder if the house is still on the market?

In the state it's probably in now he won't be able to Give It Away.

^

I can't believe I just wrote that.

:(

oh well

Change one note in Dani California and put it out as the next single. That should cover any loss.

Shouldn't laugh...

...

...

i'm glad i downloaded his music

maybe now he won't be able to a multi-million dollar one.
