The revelations came as a certain DiS hack chatted to real Montrealers Land of Talk.

I will give an explanation for those (all) of you who are not from here.
To be exact, Regine was born in downtown Montreal, went to écoles primaire et secondaire (grade 1 to 11) in Saint-Lambert, which is a suburb of Montreal (which has its own subway station in the Montreal metro), and then back to downtown. Saying Regine is not from Montreal because she went to school in Saint-Lambert is like saying that someone who went to school in Brooklyn is not from New York!!!

but since moving to sheffield and meeting my band i have visited other cities, london, manchester, newcastle.
my nan lives in essex and my brother studied in wales and i once met a danish guy and my friend knows a french person.
i did gcse german and can point to australia on a map.
