Scottish four-piece Sons And Daughters are to return to record store racks next month with their new single, 'Gilt Complex'.
The single - released on October 29 through Domino - precedes their new album, This Gift, due out next year. On the b-side, Adamski's 'Killer'. Now that's a cover we're actually pretty excited about hearing.
Produced by Bernard Butler, the band's new release is, in the worlds of the ever-reliable PR person behind it, "an ambitious return to the fray, full of pounding rhythm and riveting virtuoso guitar, hand claps and harmony".
Excellent. The band are due to tour in October, with dates to be announced soon. Keep an eye on MySpace for details.

And huzzah.
i agree...
wholeheartedly!!!!!!

i always thought it was seal or was he in adamski? either way it was good!
i believe that
adamski was the producer and seal the singer. I think it was a feat. thing. Anyway that's good news sons and daughters are back. They are very good. Also excellent live.
Looking
forward to their new album. i do have a soft spot for them it was good to see them at Connect it had been too long.
Yay
Quite frankly.
They're playing in Bristol but I'm at a gig that night. But I checked and the gig I'm at has a 9.45 curfew, and their set just down the road starts at 10. Woohoo.
good to have them back
Adele is one of the sexiest frontwomen around.
(Not that that makes any difference to them being a super dooper band.)
they played...
that Seal tune at Connect.
