OM tonight

anyone else attend?

that was the most deeply psychedelic show i've ever been to. the first time they really started getting loud the guy directly behind me just blurted out "My god...!" and nearly dropped his drink.

the Underworld isn't good for much, but the fact that you can feel every bass note and kick drum hit through the floor up to your eyeballs just made that a fucking experience. plus everyone around me was either German or Nordic. felt authentic.

so you're telling me

it was really really really good then?

uh, yeah.

people that don't go seem them at Supersonic and ATP are actual, literal suckas.

the second support band were the worst thing i've ever heard though, in the sense that they were obnoxiously bland and pointless. they had some shitty pretentious name i've already thankfully forgotten. ugh. nearly spoilt it all.

agreed

my favourite moment from any gig for the last few years; Om meander around for a good ten minutes and then, foot on the pedal NNGGGMNNNNHHHH! For the rest of the set. Awesome fucking band. This was great.

yeah

that moment was just devastating. it's pretty great how all their songs sound exactly the same in a good way. hypnotic.

seemed like a lot of people were defying the smoking ban with skunk. fairly amusing.

watching from...

the barrier at the back, top of the stairs, and seeing how pretty much the whole crowd began to headbang in unison when it kicked in was awesome!

they were immense

last night at supersonic

I have actually heard

and read a fair few people at the Underworld gig and the Supersonic gig say that nothing has ever been better. In all seriousness, I think also.

it was certainly the best show of its sort i've been to.

can't wait for them to come back over, provided they play another date around ATP this december.

well

I think it has probably sealed us going to ATP so that's good.

They were bonza

tonight. Spot on. Worth the price o' the whole festival alone.
