Crazy Woman Dirty Train

not only is this my favourite song of 2006, it is also possibly one of my most favourite songs ever. This is These Arms Are Snakes at their very best. This is everything they are, wrapped up in 5 minutes and 46 seconds. A vicous, intense rush of sound. A bombardment of noise as well as gorgeous melody.

As vocalist Steve Snere, chants the lines:

"I was also loved once. Once. There is a gaping hole there now. There is nothing inside of compassion, of happiness. It's all black. Onyx black."

You just know something's up. You know that you're about to be hit with such a blast of frantic energy, but you welcome it with open arms, body jerking, limbs swinging like a derranged windmill falling off a cliff.

Live, this song is transformed into an even more writhing, pulsating creature. It's fucking disgusting really, but that's how we like it.

I do believe

I said these exact words to you via text on wednesday night.

You clearly loved it.

:D

It was amazing when they played it

As promised. They just dragged on the last bit as long as possible. It's like being pummelled into the ground. In a good way. YEAH.

THIS JUST IN>>>>>>

this song is still awesome. Cheers.
