Q magazine, i saw, has given this 5 stars, and i thought well hay, they are a bunch of decieving cash-for-review hype merchants who get things wrong all the time, but here is a band that i quite liked the last record by, a record that sounded like they were at the beginning of something and the next could be really good, so whats to stop Q magazine actually getting something right? I don't know and... Hang on... What the fuck am I listening to?
Plodding, poor indie, crap, clunking lyrics, shouted badly rather than sung, presumably to try and find some emotional content where there is none. A retread through the signs of the last record, in a manner that, say Oasis might produce if they decided to make an Arcade Fire record. No. Don't go here. Oh dear.
