Sexy in Latin is out on Monday 22nd Jan, yey!!!
Been waiting for them to release this song- it's def their best single yet :)
Have a look at the vid on nme.com's media player if you've not heard it.
One of the best live bands around- can't wait for the Feb tour!!

Agreed
Have seen them live twice and they piss all over the Arctic Monkeys. They'll be big at this year's festivals I think.
Not fond of The Fly's review of their album though. They don't even know what the album is called!
Hmmm
Yet to be convinced by the hype around this lot.
Didn't like any of their previous singles although I haven't seen them live.
It all seems a bit too tongue-in-cheek-lads for me.
Can't stand this single...
and they don't really come close to the Monkeys who, let's face it, are the reason these Sheffield bands have received so much exposure...
kinda true but
To be honest, I loved the Monkeys till I saw em live and they just looked bored. It was a real disappointment as I'd been so excited about seeing them. Still love the album though, and looking forward to the next.
The reason I like LMT so much is that they always give 110% at every gig and actually look like theyre loving every minute. And yeah, they're tongue in cheek but its never good to take yourselves too seriously, and their songs make for a great night out!
110%?
Why dont they give 120%? Or 300000%? If they can cheat mathematics by adding an extra 10% surely, they can cheat by more than that? Lazy fuckers.
I love mathematics-based comebacks
I really liked this song once. It got a bit dull. The lego video of it is quite funny though.
they are so so so poor
remind me of the ordinary boys
i agree
when i saw them they might have put alot of effort in etc. but the music was pretty dull.
the best live band ive seen from the sheffield scene were reverend and the makers. but not seen the artic monkeys.
+
im getting bored with lyrics directly about social commentary.
i prefer
gas club to little man tate
Can't you lot see
They make catchy, fun pop songs that are good to dance around to
No!
I saw them last year at Summer Sundae and had never previously heard of or heard anything by them. And I left after 3 songs....if they become 'big' I WILL get revenge. They were just about everything I hate in a band and I was already bored of songs about modern life and 'witty' social commentary by last summer.
And I rarely post. That's how passionate my dislike is. I bothered. signing. in.
haha so did i..
they were pretty abysmal, some of the most unoriginal lyrics i have ever heard!
That said the friends i was with loved them and they'r usually a good barometer of the likes and dislikes of mainstream indie, so they'll probs be huge :S
They will
a band i play in
is playing with this band, i am yet to have heard them.

Whats your band called? I might be seeing them if its on the forthcoming tour
I had to do a review of Sexy in Latin
for a website. I so expected to hate it. I actually wanted to hate it. But I couldn't. It's alright really. Mind you I can expect it to wear a bit thin after a while
ahh
i play in a band called i was a cub scout. we are playing a show at nottingham trent uni with them and one at brixton acadamy..
they are shit
and opportunistic bastards
they used to be called the moon and sound like the stone roses until a certain sheffield band became popular and they changed their name and sound to jump on the bandwagon..
sounds
like a good plan to me...
Can't be worse than sounding like the Stone Roses anyway !
...
they do sound a little similar to the said band from sheffield i must say..
If you are looking
for something different in a band from Sheffield there's always Fury of the Headteachers. Their new single is up on the Grace myspace page.
www.myspace.com/gracerecordsuk
It's miles better than LMT!
Fury of the Headteachers
are indeed ace !
yes they are!
and thats not just because I live with half of them ;)
Looking forward to the album coming out. From the bits I've heard, its excellent.
Oh bloody dare you!
With you're twee pop
