They're gig in Cardiff last night really was amazing. Special mention as well to Josephine Foster who opened proceedings.
Special mention to the crowd actually, very quiet and respectfull. It was a lovely show.-
Re: Espers: Show moving & Devendra grooving
Yeah it was brilliant night wasn't it. I though Josephine Foster sounded like an Icelandic opera singer; incredibly idiosyncratic. And i LOVED it when DB and his band went off for 5 and asked for any singer/songwriter in the audience to come and play his guitar in the interval. That Rob guy from Newport did so well having been thrown into it like that. Totally magic all night too with such a happy hippy vibe. I sang at the top of my voice all the drive home.-
Re: Espers: Show moving & Devendra grooving
Yeh when he asked for any budding singersongwriters to come on stage I thought "oh dear god this will be dreadfull", but fair do's to that Rob fella, he handled himself well.

Did that asking for punters from the audience to play thing in Belfast too, so any singer-songwriters who fancy doing the same might want to get to one of Devendra's gigs. -
