Doesn't matter if you like them or not.
I'll start off by predicting the obvious, Klaxons.
Fields and Long Blondes should be pretty big too.
This time last year I was pretty spot on by saying Dirty Pretty Things, Boy Kill Boy and The Kooks.

Who cares who is big.
Good point.
As long as bands I like have sufficient means to go on producing music, I don't really mind who's successful.
That said, given I can only access mainstream radio stations at work, it'd be nice to have something half-decent to listen to. And it is nice to see someone who deserves it do well for themselves.
nobody 'cares'
but it's interesting. who cares who wins a football game? nobody in their right mind, but it's interesting to predict.
er...
The Magic Numbers..

Popular Workshop
Chet
Infants
Emmy The Great
Carina Round
Dunno about big, but they'll all still be ace.
Depends what you mean by big
Oh No! Oh My! will be bigger than they are currently, and Bolt Action 5 will get the NME's knickers in a twist while they are flogging acts as 'New Rave'.
I think that the new Arcade Fire album will see them out of the indie ghetto and into the proper mainstream. By which I mean Radio 2 and albums on sale in Sainsbury's.
Apartment are not pants
I think...
Apartment
New Rhodes
The Noiesettes
The Patty Winters Show
586

Erm..
Los Campesinos and cub scout really deseve it. I want Dartz! to do well along with tellison who are great also.
I wasn't really into
Apartment when I went to see them but I reckon they have a tight sound that will make them massive. Hardly groundbreaking but I can see them being huge.
The Beatles
and maybe The Rolling Stones too!
i would like to say Apartment too
but i'm not sure if they've missed the boat or not. they've been slogging at it for a looooong time now and don't *seem* to have got much further.
they even supported the Killers and it didn't seem to help them.
