Mercury Rev prepare best-of album

Mercury Rev are to release a best-of album in October. The two-disc set features a CD full of rare material.
The Essential Mercury Rev - Stillness Breathes (1991-2006) will arrive in stores nationwide on October 2. The second CD features a handful of cover versions and Peel Session tracks. Tracklisting as follows...

I think the early stuff they chose is good, and about right, but that they chose completely the wrong songs off the later albums.

is my favourite and that's not on there but I didn't expect it to be and it's generally a good collection.

putting any tracks from their last album on. the absolute biggest pile of bilge from a band i previously thought highly of i have ever had the misfortune to listen to.
