Adam and Dave went to the same school but didn't really speak to each other. Dave had a couple of bands before he joined a band called Cagetheory where he met Ross Page.
During the later years of Cagetheory Ross and Dave had a side project, which they called Spoiler and when Ross moved to Northampton this side project carried on occasionally meeting to jam through tracks they had written. They visited a few studios once in a local studio near Hastings and twice at a studio in Northampton called The Lodge.
One night before Christmas 2001 down a local club in Hastings known as The Crypt Adam bumped into Dave. After a few hours of drunken conversation reminiscing about old times they got onto the subject of what they had been doing musically. Dave explained what he and Ross had been doing and how they needed a bassist to complete the line-up of their band. Adams ears pricked up and explained he wanted to be in a band as a bassist. The next day Adam phoned Dave and explained that Ross was up for it, so Adam met up with Dave to get a CD of their material to learn before they met up for a jam.
So there was the beginning. The first spark. They all stood in a local practice room in Hastings, plugged in their instruments and cracked into the first song (luckily the one Adam knew best from the CD Dave had given to Adam.)
When the song had finished they all looked at each other and knew that something had clicked, like they had been playing for much longer.
So far they have supported quality bands such as InMe, Lightyear and Jerry Built and more awaits them such as Halo Friendlies.
The band asks you to join them and hopefully share the same excitement and ambition.
