Zoe first picked up a guitar at the age of 10, and soon began writing songs of her own. She left school early and at 15 started music college, where she gained a National Diploma in Popular Music.
By age 17, she was in London working for a weekly rock magazine, interviewing bands, gigging, ligging and generally being led astray by the 24 hour party of London life.
From her Hastings base, Zoe played guitar and sang in a variety of local bands on the Sussex music scene, in the meantime continuing to develop her original songs. She finally decided to go it alone after wowing the audience at a couple of spontaneous solo gigs in Autumn 2004.
Offstage, Zoe can seem deceptively shy, but anyone witnessing her raw and passionate delivery and unique guitar style would find it difficult to believe she has been performing solo for less than a year.
