They Drove Me To It is :
Formed in early 2004, They Drove Me To It twist alt-rock and female fronted pop into a unique guitar heavy sound, whilst never forgetting the benefits of a proper pop melody and a big chorus.
After initially making their mark on the live circuit with a string of shows during late 2004/early 2005 on the back of their original demo recordings, They Drove Me To It released a three track single entitled 'Zeroes To Heroes' in May 2005.. The CD, title track produced by Jason Wilcock (Reuben), subsequently sold out its initial run of 300 copies in a just few weeks whilst receiving impressive reviews from many fanzines and music websites as well as a 7/10 review from Rock Sound magazine and a 'Single of the Issue' award from Play Dead magazine.
After playing a lot of gigs around the country, the band returned to Stakeout Studios in Sepetember 2005 with Jason Wilcock to record two new tracks, one of which, 'Save Me Sinner', was subsequently released as a digital download single in October 2005.
The band intend to release a new single in the summer.
