The Primms were born in January 2002 and swiftly retreated to a rehearsal room in Crawley. Entering with only white noise in their ears they left with the searing ode to fractured beliefs that is, ‘Do You Know the Future?’ A three piece, The Primms name derives from the primitivism and rawness of their live sound, and the expression of musical instincts.

Vocalist and guitarist, Andy Redman, influenced by the lo-fi sounds of Wheat and the epic scope of Sigur Rüs, has channelled his adrenaline-fuelled chastisement of the lethargic into The Primms debut single. With a surging bass kick and a relentless drum attack, the song’s message stands alone in today’s musical world with its echoing refrain of, ‘We don’t need anyone, you don’t need anyone’.
