Lion Club formed early 2006 as a 4 piece; Lewis(15); Matt(16); Alex.B(16); and Kurt(15). We played several local gigs under the name of The Capulets until July time when we played our first London show with Trafalgar. We played another several shows with the likes of; The Enemy; The Svengalis; Talk Taxis; and Dustins Bar Mitzvah, until in September we decided to have a break and decide what we wanted to do. Out went Kurt and in came the drum machine. We found the sound we enjoyed playing and got ourselves a new name. In March 2007, we played our first gig as Lion Club; since then we've been billed with bands such as; We Smoke Fags; Ulterior; Party Shank; Vicarious Bliss (Ed Banger); and Autokratz (Kitsune). We are currently writing new material, and preparing our live set for our forthcoming summer shows. Bring on 2007! The Lion's have arrived.
