After releasing singles since 1996 and building up a fanbase by relentless touring, Norwich's Kaito have really started to take off in the last year or so. Snapped up by Fierce Panda for single and album releases in the UK, (and by Devil Woods for a Stateside release), the band have seen latest single 'Catnap' strongly supported by Steve Lamacq, John Peel and XFM in London. Album track 'Thwip-Side' has also been picked up a worrying amount of airplay in France. To widen their international appeal, Kaito will be touring the States in October.
