Bio
[Edit this profile]Jack Off Jill secured themselves as a cult band when they broke up in 2000. Lead singer Jessicka (and friend of Mr Marilyn Manson, who in turn produced their first 7") declared she wanted out of the music industry after a string of bust-ups with Risk Records, JOJ's label.
Forming in the early 90s, their first album "Sexless Demons and Scars" mixed rock'n'roll with punk energy. Add to that their goth image, and you have female AFI. However, their second album "Clear Hearts Grey Flowers" was somewhat more downbeat, very theatrical and intense. Jack Off Jill will be missed, but their spirit lives on in Scarling., Jessicka's new band.
