Dave McPherson/Vocals & Guitar
Joe Morgan/Bass
Simon Taylor/Drums

With a collective age of 18 and 20 years old, InMe have known each other for years (Dave and Joe met at school when they were 5 years old), and as such, InMe are not just a close knit band, but lifelong friends. This fact is evident in their music in that the band members’ immense understanding of each other brings a level of maturity to their songs not often heard in a band this young. It is this natural bond between them, both personally and musically, that is the key to the passion and honesty behind everything InMe does. Not surprising then, that InMe is already making a substantial impact on everyone who sees and hears them:

“The unfeasibly talented Dave McPherson effortlessly wails and growls his way through each song…Magic.” Drowned In Sound

“InMe…are writhing in the obvious glory of their set…Heads are craning, feet taping – good vibes abound. InMe…have claimed a victory tonight.” Metal Hammer

“Although hard to pinpoint an exact sound, it’s fair to say that InMe sound like a lot of bands all rolled into one. At times grungy a la Pearl Jam, at times dark a la Sunna and at times melodic a la Nirvana – when all rolled into one they’re a ball of loud guitars and emotion …InMe have caused enough ears to prick up to make the early start worthwhile.” Rock Sound

“InMe’s rather raw three track demo points at things to come, there’s still youthful exuberance, now it’s also full of promise – three teenagers from Essex who already mesh together so so well. “Ice Warm” is the stand out of the three tracks here with it’s bitter sweet restraint, it’s angelic falsettos, and most of all it’s violined guitar.” Organ Zine/organart.com

InMe begin recording their Music For Nations debut at the end of October with veteran producer Colin Richardson (Machine Head, Fear Factory, SugarComa, OMS) at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire. On choosing Mr. Richardson for production duties, Dave McPherson says “All the stuff we’ve heard, especially recently, just sounds so fresh. Colin has such a great work ethic and he cares about how a band is put across.” Tentatively titled “Overgrown Eden”, confirmed song titles on InMe’s debut are “Underdose”, “Firefly”, “Wounds”, “Lava Twilight”, “Natural”, “Her Mask”, “Energy”, “Crushed Like Fruit”, “Ice Warm”, “Trenches”, “Neptune” and “Mosaic”. The album is scheduled for release on the 27 January 2003. In the meantime, you can hear demo versions of “Lava Twilight” and “Ice Warm” at http://www.mp3.com/inme.
