Comets On Fire

Musically open-minded Americans with one ear on early Pink Floyd and the other on the sounds of the cosmos. Like prog rock, only better. Recently signed to Sub Pop, who will release their new record, Blue Cathedral, in Sept 04 (in UK, available NOW in the US).

2006 update: following UK shows at ATP and as support to Mudhoney, Comets On Fire will release Avatar, their second long-player for Sub Pop, in August. A bluesier affair than its predecessor, it is nevertheless quite The Rock.
