Starting way back in 1999, James Barrett took up the drums and found out that his mate, Matt Looker, was a guitarist. Thinking it may be fun to have a jam, Grahame Pardoe chipped in saying he could play guitar too, and so the search for a bassist began. A month later, Grahame said he could play bass, and on that basis, Chevron was formed!
Melting a sound with hints of early Manics, Guns and Roses, Beach Boys, Radiohead and the Datsuns but retaining a original edge, Chevron are out to take on the world and show that original, thought provoking music is still possible in this day and age of reality shows and plastic celebs.

Fresh from cutting their latest EP entitled 'Feel' - with track titles including "Self Indulgence is a Bitter Pill" and "A Beautiful Kind of Crazy" - Chevron are adding to their list of gig dates and are planning to self finance an album before the end of 2007.
