1996: Formed like so many other bands by high school friends looking
for “something to do” by Phil Keane (drums), Paul Cattigan
(guitar) and David Farrell (vocal). Again like many other high school
bands – were pretty crap!
1997: A Mr Jonathan Cunningham and Andy Munro later joined on guitar and bass respectively. Then respectively left the band four years later. Andy to concentrate on his University studies (that ol’ gag eh?) and Jonathan after a drunken incident with Paul (seriously - I really am sorry man!)
2001: With the group back to its bare arse again a Ms Lynne Scarff joined on bass and some random guitarism. She was a total star because only a few days before she joined we were going into the studio to record our very first brand spanking new, stereo, digitally mastered in beast studio demo cd so had to and did learn the parts in an insanely short time period. Kudos!
2002: Then a really random thing happened - Lynne left (health problems) and it was around this time we all had one of those “For gods sake its time to take this shit seriously and stop fannying around!” moments. God we are such a High School band cliché! It had been a more of a hobby before now. Time for some serious work – let there be ROCK!
2003: The serious shit kicked in with the arrival of guitar monster Rory Simpson, a college friend of Pauls, then the arrival of Naval Mike on bass (He’s in the navy you know!). The entire set was scrapped and we decided to start again with the new song-writing duo of Rory and Paul.
With a new found enthusiasm things were creamin for the whole year with loads of songs being made blah blah blah. But alas… shit! Whats the opposite of that cloud silver lining thingy? Roses and thorns… Aye! Anyway, although godlike Farrell (vocals) never did have the strongest voice in the world it was decided between all of us (David included) that a replacement should be found. That replacement turned out to be Mike Johnson or Selecta – whatever you want to call him he doesn’t mind.
2004: Mike Selecta fitted in well and the practises were doubled. As a result the band is tighter than it has ever been. So catch us live in 2004 – tune in! Freak out! AYE!
