- Terry Corso - guitar
- Mike Cosgrove - drums
- Tye Zamora - bass
More melodic than the majority of their contemporaries, they were embraced by young metal fans into the more commercial aspects of the genre. They independently released their debut album Greatest Hits (1999) which won the title of Best Independent Album at the LA Music Awards, before being snapped up by Papa Roach's New Noize label on which they released ANThology (2001). It was their Michael Jackson cover which rocketed them out of their mentors' shadow and into the Top 10.
In truth, their success was assured from the moment nu-metal titans Papa Roach took AAF under their angst-splattered wings and the band released album 'ANThology'.
An horrific car accident while on tour in Europe in 2002, in which the driver of their tour bus was killed, also left frontman Dryden Mitchell with severe back injuries. After several months of physiotherapy Mitchell returned to the stage and began work on their third album in early 2003. Tom Edwards
